Zusammenfassung
Heutzutage wird die Arthrose als multifaktorielles Geschehen aufgefasst, das Kriterien der systemischen, chronisch-entzündlichen Erkrankungen aufweist. Ansätze in der Therapie bestehen präventiv, konservativ, medikamentös - auch mit Biologicals -, lokal (intraartikulär), genetisch und operativ.
Therapeutic concepts for osteoarthritis
Today osteoarthritic changes are understood as a systemic disease with multifactorial influences comparable to the systemic arthritis illnesses. Therapeutic goals aim to preventive measures, conservative treatment, medicaments - also „biologicals” -, local (intraarticular) injections, genetic and surgicals interventions.
