Tumeur conjonctivo-palpébrale bilatérale chez un homme immuno-compétent due au virus du papilloma humain (HPV)

Konjunktivo-palpebraler bilateraler Tumor mit humanem Papillomavirus bei einem immunkompetenten Mann

Ein 46j ähriger immunkompetenter Mann stellt sich mit einem beidseitigen Bindehaut- und Lidtumor und einer Warze am rechten Ringfinger vor. In der Impressionszytologie zeigen sich leicht kohesive Zellen mit Dysplasie und bis 4 Nukleoli im Kern. In der exzidierten Läsion finden sich eine Dysplasie des Epithels mit Konjunktivaler intraepithelialer Dysplasie (CIN).

Diagnose „Papilloma der Bindehaut und des Lides”. Das Papillom ist mit dem humanen Papillomavirus assoziiert. Die molekulare Hybridisations-Analyse der DNA mit PCR hat den HPV in dem Augentumor und in der Warze bestätigt, obwohl der Virustyp nicht derselbe war. Die Behandlung des Bindehaut- und Lidtumors mit Excision und Kryotherapie war erfolgreich.

Summary

A 46-year-old white male patient in good general health presented with a bilateral conjunctival and eyelid tumor and a wart at the tip of the fourth right finger. Impression cytology showed dysplasic cells with loss of cohesion and up to 4 nucleoli per nucleus. The excisional biopsy of the conjunctiva revealed a dysplasic epithelial tissue that allowed the diagnosis of papilloma with parts of conjunctival intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). Papilloma has been associated with Human Papillomavirus (HPV). The molecular hybridization analysis using PCR revealed that HPV was present in the eye tumor and in the wart, but the viral type was not the same. Treatment of the eye tumor with excision and low temperature cryocoagulation was successful.
