Summary
An partial avulsion of the optic nerve was found after a blunt ocular trauma in a 34-year old-patient. For the first time it is possible to demonstrate CT exposures of such a case. The importance of this method in cases of blunt ocular trauma accompanied by hemorrhages of the anterior chamber or the vitreous is discussed.
