Laser Iridektomie - Eine 6-Jahresstudie

Zusammenfassung

Im genannten Zeitraum wurden 150 Laser-Iridektomien unter Verwendung des gepulsten Argon-Lasers (BRITT Corp.) angelegt. Mit Hilfe eines neu entwickelten 3-Spiegel-Kontaktglases (Stiegler) gelingt es praktisch ausnahmslos, die Iris unabhängig von ihrer Farbe und unabhängig von der Vorderkammertiefe in einer Sitzung zu perforieren. Die dabei verwendete Technik, tonographische, histologische Untersuchungen und Resultate werden eingehend besprochen. Diese Erkenntnisse gestatten es, neuen Einblick in die Abflußmechanik beim Glaukom zu gewinnen.

)During the period mentioned 150 laser iridectomies were performed using the pulsed argon laser (BRITT Corp. With the help of a specially developed threemirror glass, (Stiegler) it is possible, without exception, to penetrate the iris in one session, regardless of its color or the depth of the anterior chamber. The technique used, and the tonographic and histologic investigations and results are discussed. The findings provide a nwe insight into the mechanism of out flow in glaucoma.
