Zusammenfassung

Nach Schilderung des klinischen Verlaufs bei allgemeiner Fettembolie werden zwei eigene Beobachtungen von Fettembolie mit Augenbeteiligung beschrieben. Im Anschluß an die Darstellung des Krankheitsverlaufs und ophthalmoskopischen Bildes wird eine Abgrenzung gegenüber der Angiopathia retinae traumatica Purtscher vorgenommen.

Summary

Following a description of the clinical course of general fat embolism two cases of fat embolism with eye involvement seen by the authors are described. The course of the disease as well as the ophthalmoscopic picture are discussed and the condition is differentiated from traumatic angiopathy of the retina (Purtscher's disease).
