Zum besonderen Problem des Lymphangioma perioculare und hemifaciale

Zusammenfassung

Anhand von 2 Fällen wird über das seltene Krankheitsbild des Lymphangioma hemifaciale bzw. über das periokuläre Lymphangiom berichtet, das jedem Ophthalmologen wegen der aufgezeigten Komplikationen in Form von Einblutungen und Erysipel und der therapeutischen Möglichkeiten bekannt sein sollte. Bei angeborener einseitiger Ptosis, Protrusio conjunctivae, Exophthalmus sowie Hypertrophie einer Gesichtshälfte ist das Lymphangiom stets in die Differentialdiagnose einzubeziehen.

Summary

The authors describe two cases of the rare disease lymphangioma hemifaciale. Every ophthalmologist should know this disease in view of the complications such as hemorrhage or erysipelas. Treatment methods are discussed. Furthermore, lymphangioma must be taken into consideration in the differential diagnosis of ptosis, protrusio bulbi, protrusio conjunctivae and congenital hemifacial hypertrophy.
