EURO-NOTES 2008 Report

EURO-NOTES 2008 was the second joint meeting of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES) and the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) on Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery (NOTES).

Gastroenterologists and surgeons dedicated to NOTES research and clinical practice from throughout Europe and beyond, participants from the biomedical industry and an international faculty of NOTES experts gathered to discuss and debate the challenges and obstacles of implementing Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery into clinical practice.

EURO-NOTES 2008: NOTES reality and visions from Europe and beyond.

Six working group sessions, focussing on the main problem areas and their possible solutions were held on the first evening and were the gateway to another fruitful and challenging meeting on the state-of-the-art of European NOTES reality and visions.
