Abstract

We report a Pd-catalyzed ortho-arylation of N-aryloxazolidinones under mild conditions. Our oxidative cross-coupling consumes sodium persulfate (Na2S2O8), a green and environmentally benign reagent, as the terminal oxidant. Trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) is critical for reactivity.
