European Pediatric Surgical Association (EUPSA)

The Editorial Board of the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery is very pleased to release the EUPSA Issue 2023, which again contains excellent articles. The paper has been presented at the European Congress of Pediatric Surgery which took place in Tel Aviv, Israel, from June 30, 2022, to July 2, 2022. The European Congress of Pediatric Surgery was a great success, and the papers were discussed extensively by our many enthusiastic pediatric surgical communities.

Despite some travel restrictions due to the corona virus pandemic, all scientific highlights were presented in person. Forty of these highlights have been submitted to be considered for publication in the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery. All manuscripts were reviewed and discussed by the EUPSA Publication Committee consisting of professors Ernest van Heurn from Amsterdam, Richard Keijzer from Winnipeg, Martin Lacher from Leipzig, Annika Mutanen from Helsinki, Udo Rolle from Frankfurt, Benno Ure from Hannover, and Augusto Zani from Toronto. The Publication Committee finally accepted 14 manuscripts for publication.

Again, we thank the members of the committee for their extraordinary input.

The manuscripts which appear in this issue of the journal represent the high quality of scientific work being done by pediatric surgeons in Europe and all over the world. We appreciate their publication in the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery.
