Ultrahochfrequenz-Ultraschall: Eine moderne Diagnosetechnik zur Untersuchung von Melanomen

Die Entwicklung neuer Ultrahochfrequenzgeräte mit einer Auflösung von 30μm ermöglicht den Einsatz von Ultraschall bei der Untersuchung neuer kleiner anatomischer Einheiten und den Einsatz dieser Methode in neuen Bereichen der Pathologie. Das kutane Melanom ist eine schwere Hauterkrankung mit einer jährlichen Inzidenz von etwa 160 000 Neuerkrankungen und 48 000 Todesfällen. In diesem Beitrag bewerten wir die Rolle des HFUS bei der Diagnose des kutanen Melanoms, beschreiben das sonografische Erscheinungsbild der Hautschichten in der Präexzisionsphase sowie die Merkmale der Läsion und vergleichen sie mit der pathologischen Untersuchung.
