Zusammenfassung
Ziel der Studie Die Bedeutung von kommunikativer Teilhabe und das Erleben von Kommunikationssituationen
wird aus der Perspektive von Menschen mit einem palliativen Kopf-Hals-Tumor dargestellt.
Methodik Es wurden episodische Interviews mit fünf Menschen mit Kopf-Hals-Tumor geführt, die
sich in ambulanter oder vorübergehend stationärer palliativer Behandlung befanden.
Die Auswertung folgte der phänomenologischen Methodologie und der Grounded Theory.
Ergebnisse Menschen mit einem palliativen Kopf-Hals-Tumor erleben Kommunikationssituationen
als kommunikatives Ausbalancieren auf den Ebenen „Dabei zu sein“, „Umgang mit Entscheidungen“
und „Beziehungsgestaltung“. Es wird beeinflusst von intra- und extrapersonalen Faktoren
sowie der jeweiligen Situationsstruktur.
Schlussfolgerung Kommunikative Teilhabe steht für eine selbstbestimmte Gestaltung von Alltags- und
Versorgungssituationen. In der Behandlung können Betroffene zu einer individuellen
kommunikativen Teilhabe befähigt werden, was zu einer gesteigerten Lebensqualität
führen kann.
Abstract
Objective The meaning of communicative participation and the experience of communication situations
will be presented from the perspective of people with a palliative head-neck cancer
disease.
Methods There have been five episodic interviews with persons, who were in an ambulant or
temporary in-patient palliative care due to a head-neck cancer disease. The analysis
of the interviews followed the phenomenological methodology and the Grounded Theory.
Results People with a palliative head-neck cancer disease experience communication situations
as communicative balancing on three levels: “taking part”, “dealing with decisions”
and “shaping relationships”. The influential factors are intra- and extrapersonal
factors as well as the structure of communication situations.
Conclusion Communicative balancing can be seen as a self-determined composition of daily situations
as well as those in medical contexts, in which people can be empowered to participate
in communication and therefore have a higher level in quality of life.
