Systemic Treatment Kimmtrak for Metastatic Uveal Melanoma

Beim metastasierten uvealen Melanom handelt es sich um einen aggressiven Tumor, der weniger als 5% aller Melanome ausmacht und i. d. R. eine schlechte Prognose aufweist [1]. Derzeit existieren in Deutschland keine evidenzbasierten nationalen Leitlinien für die Therapie des uvealen Melanoms. Es gibt jedoch gegenwärtig Studien, die ein einheitliches Standardverfahren für die Diagnostik, Therapie und Nachsorge des uvealen Melanoms unter Berücksichtigung des aktuellen Wissensstandes zur Erkrankung entwickelt haben [2], [3]. Bei 50% der Patienten mit uvealem Melanom treten Metastasen auf. Bei einer mittleren Gesamtüberlebenszeit von etwa 1 Jahr ist die Prognose für diese Patienten schlecht [4], [5].
