Kriegsverletzungen im Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtsbereich
War Injuries in the Oral and Maxillofacial RegionDie Akuttraumatisierung bei Schuss-/Kriegsverletzungen im Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtsbereich ist als schwerwiegend einzustufen. In der Primärversorgung sind Maßnahmen zur ggf. chirurgischen Atemwegssicherung, hämodynamischen Stabilisierung und Blutstillung entscheidend. Nach klinischer und bildgebender Diagnostik auch der Begleitverletzungen ist eine primäre Weichgewebsdeckung unter antimikrobieller Therapie anzustreben. Daneben zielt die Therapie darauf ab, Projektile und Splitterfragmente, sofern möglich, vollständig zu entfernen. Die Sekundärrekonstruktion ist unter Zuhilfenahme aller modernen technisch unterstützenden und chirurgischen Möglichkeiten im Sinne eines bestmöglichen Rekonstruktionsergebnisses durchzuführen.
