Psychische Störungen bei Frauen: Besonderheiten im Zusammenhang mit den reproduktiven Phasen

Kernaussagen

• Verschiedene psychische Störungsbilder treten bei Frauen häufiger auf als bei Männern.

• Der Verlauf psychischer Störungen kann durch hormonelle Veränderungen in der prämenstruellen Zeit, in der Peripartalzeit sowie in der Perimenopause beeinflusst sein.

• Die Diagnostik und Behandlung psychischer Störungen bei Frauen sollte unter Berücksichtigung der zyklusbedingten Besonderheiten und reproduktiven Übergänge erfolgen.

• Für eine geschlechtsspezifische psychologische Diagnostik und Psycho- bzw. Pharmakotherapie stehen geeignete Instrumente und Behandlungsmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung.
