Abstract
The multicomponent reaction between secondary phosphines, elemental selenium, and primary, secondary, or tertiary amines is accomplished efficiently in ethanol (60 ˚C, 0.5 h) to give the corresponding mono-, di-, or trialkylammonium diselenophosphinates in high yield (up to 97%).
Key words
secondary phosphines - elemental selenium - amines - three-component reaction - diselenophosphinates
