Merkmale von funktionalen, sozialen und umweltbezogenen Bereichen im Sinne der ICF bei Patienten mit Abhängigkeitserkrankungen

Zusammenfassung

Zielsetzung: Mit der Internationalen Klassifikation von Funktionsfähigkeit, Behinderung und Gesundheit (ICF) steht seit 2001 ein theoretisches Modell zur Verfügung, um Beeinträchtigungen von Erkrankung und deren Krankheitsfolgen zu beschreiben. Vor diesem Hintergrund war es Zielsetzung der Studie, die Merkmale von funktionalen, sozialen und umweltbezogenen Problembereichen bei Patienten mit Abhängigkeitserkrankungen zu beschreiben.

Methode: Im Rahmen einer multizentrischen Studie wurde ein Fremdeinschätzungsinstrument (Health of the Nation Outcome Scales, HoNOS-D) an einer konsekutiven Stichprobe von n=417 Patienten in stationärer Suchtbehandlung und an einer Stichprobe von n=3 169 Patienten in stationärer psychosomatischer/psychotherapeutischer Rehabilitationsbehandlung eingesetzt.

Ergebnisse: Es konnten spezifische Charakteristika in der Funktionsfähigkeit, bei Aktivitäten und Partizipation bei Patienten in Suchtbehandlung im Vergleich zu Patienten in psychosomatischer Behandlung identifiziert werden.

Fazit: Es gibt einen hohen Bedarf an weiteren Instrumenten, die Aktivitäten und Partizipation für Patienten mit Suchterkrankungen erfassen.

Abstract

Objective: Impairments in functioning, activities and participation as theoretically included in the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) account for illness consequences and reduced quality of life. The aim of the study was to analyze the specific characteristics in patients with substance-related disorders.

Methods: An expert-rated instrument (HoNOS-D) was applied in a multi-center, consecutive sample of 417 inpatients with substance-related disorders and in a multi-center sample of 3 169 inpatients with mental disorders.

Results: Specific characteristics in functioning, activities and participation and environmental factors can be identified in inpatients with substance-related disorders.

Conclusions: There is a need for more specific instruments measuring activities and participation and environmental factors differentially.
