Background
Retinal arterial macroaneurysm (MA) is an acquired saccular or fusiform dilatation of a major retinal artery and is primarily located at arteriovenous crossings. Juxtapapillary MA (JMA) is uncommon, with only a few cases reported [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6].
We describe the benefits of spectral domain (SD) optical coherence tomography (OCT) in the follow-up of JMA and its exsudative features, compared to intravenous fluorescein (FA) and indocyanine green angiograms (ICGA).
