Generalisierte pruriginöse Papeln – eine floride Syphilis

Zusammenfassung

Es stellte sich uns ein 63-jähriger Patient mit seit Wochen bestehenden juckenden Hautveränderungen vor.

Da er des Weiteren Dysphagien sowie Erosionen im Rachenbereich zu beklagen hatte, wurde hausärztlich eine antibiotische Therapie eingeleitet, die jedoch zu keiner Befundbesserung führte.

Wir entnahmen stationär einige Probebiopsien und konnten in den Präparaten zahlreiche Plasmazellen entdecken. Zur Sicherheit wurde die Labordiagnostik um die Lues- und Borrelienserologie erweitert. Hierbei ließ sich eine floride Syphilis nachweisen.

Abstract

A 63 year old patient complained for weeks itchy skin. For he complained of dysphagia and further erosion in the throat area, antibiotic therapy was initiated by the family doctor. But the complaints did not improve.

The patient visited our clinic. Here we took some skin biopsies. In the histology we saw many plasma cells. So we continued the laboratory diagnostics. After this we could prove a syphilitic disease. The nodular lesions soon recovered with antisyphilitic treatment.
