Pilon-tibial-Fraktur – operatives Vorgehen

Zusammenfassung

Pilon-tibial-Frakturen stellen eine besondere Entität der distalen Tibiafrakturen dar. Von der korrekten Frakturklassifikation über den geeigneten OP-Zeitpunkt bis hin zur Wahl und Umsetzung des richtigen Operationsverfahrens erfordert die Behandlung der Pilonfraktur ein hohes Maß an chirurgischer Expertise und operativer Erfahrung. Der folgende Artikel möchte einen Überblick eines suffizienten diagnostischen und therapeutischen Algorithmus vermitteln, der als Behandlungspfad im Alltag dient.

Abstract

Pilon tibial fractures are characteristic distal tibial fractures. However, from correct fracture classification to appropriate timing of surgery till selection of suitable surgical strategies, fracture management of these fractures requires an extensive surgical knowledge and expertise. The objective was to convey a diagnostic and therapeutic algorithm, which can be used as a daily pathway in treating pilon fractures.
