Abstract

Objective and reproducible analysis of skin function based on quantifiable measurements permit determination of the precise skin type. Skin-physiological parameters such as skin hydratation, skin color, skin barrier, sebum, transepidermal water loss (TEWL), elasticity and skin micro-relief enable the advanced evaluation of skins function and changes. Reliable and target-driven treatment and care concepts are thus available. The optical representation is an effective consulting tool and support for the sales dialogue “skin values at a glance”.
