European Pediatric Surgeons' Association (EUPSA)

The members of the Editorial Board of the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery are very pleased to release the EUPSA Congress Issue of the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery. The issue contains articles presented at the 15h European Congress of Pediatric Surgery, held in Dublin, from 18th to 21st of June 2014. The meeting was very successful. Six hundred and sixty-seven abstracts were submitted and 142 of these were accepted for oral presentation. Including posters, 67% of the abstracts were accepted. The authors of accepted articles were invited to submit their manuscript to be considered for publication in the EUPSA Congress issue of European Journal of Pediatric Surgery. In total, 82 manuscripts were submitted. The submitted manuscripts were reviewed by George W. Holcomb, Agostino Pierro, Holger Till, Juan Tovar, Benno Ure, and Tomas Wester. Twenty-six of these manuscripts were finally accepted for this EUPSA Congress issue. The articles reflect the high quality of scientific work, which is done by pediatric surgeons. We appreciate their publication in the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery.
