Medizinischer Kompressionsstrumpf (MKS)Publikationsverlauf

* Diese Leitlinie wurde von Experten im Rahmen einer Konsensuskonferenz erarbeitet, die am 4. und 5.08.2006 in Köln auf Initiative der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Phlebologie (DGP) und des Berufsverbandes für Phlebologie (BVP) stattfand. Die Leitlinie wurde vom Vorstand und Beirat der DGP und des BVP sowie den beteiligten Experten nach ausführlicher Beratung am 04.10.2006 verabschiedet. Es wurden alle randomisierten kontrollierten Studien (randomized controlled trial; Abk. RCT1) bis April 2006 zu diesem Thema elektronisch in Datenbanken und per Handsuche ermittelt. Diese Studien wurden auf Konsensuskonferenzen hinsichtlich Empfehlungs- und Evidenzgrad bewertet und dahingehend beurteilt, ob sie in die Leitlinie aufgenommen werden konnten oder etwa wegen minderer Qualität ausgeschlossen werden mussten. Im Vorfeld hatten die Teilnehmer zu jeder Publikation ihres Themenkreises einen einheitlichen Evaluationsbogen ausgefüllt, der dann zur Konferenz allen zur Diskussion vorlag. Außerdem wurden die Ergebnisse der Konsensus-Konferenz „Evidence based compression therapy“, die auf Initiative der Union Internationale de Phlébologie unter dem Präsidenten H. Partsch am 27.08.2003 in S. Diego/USA abgehalten wurde, berücksichtigt (H. Partsch, Evidence based compression therapy, VASA Vol. 32, Suppl. 63, 2003).
* 1Die RCT’s wurden nach den wissenschaftlichen Qualitätskriterien der DEGAM bewertet: Folgende Evidenzgrade (EV-GR) wurden unter Berücksichtigung der Qualität/Aussagekraft der einzelnen Studie vergeben:
* I. Metaanalyse oder systemischer Review von RCTs, Megatrails, einzelne RCTs
* II. Konhortenstudien mit Kontrollgruppe / nicht randomisierter CT, quasiexperimentelle Studie, Fallkontrollstudie,
* III. Querschnitts-, ökologische Studie, Kohorte ohne Kontrollgruppe (Anwendungsbeobachtung), Fallserien
* IV. Expertenmeinung, Grundlagenforschung
