Problems encountered in computing electrocardiographic diagnoses will be discussed. The method was to select voltage and time measurements for quantified diagnostic criteria. The selection was based on the physiologic events of the heart, the pathologic involvement for different diseases, the geometry of the lead system and the dispersion and overlap of the diagnostic groupings. It was possible to compute envelope surfaces which enclose each diagnostic grouping of persons. Specific measurements of voltages and times gave a great separation of persons with different diagnoses and little separation of persons with the same diagnoses.
Die vorliegende Arbeit behandelt Probleme, die sich bei der elektronischen Diagnose von EKG’s stellten. Die Methodik des Vorgehens bestand dabei darin, Spannungs- und Zeit-Meßwerte als quantifizierte diagnostische Kriterien auszuwählen. Die Auswahl gründete sich auf die physiologische Herztätigkeit, deren pathologische Veränderung bei verschiedenen Krankheiten, die Geometrie des Ableitungssystems und die Verteilung und Überlagerung verschiedener diagnostischer Gruppen. Es war möglich, Grenzflächen für jede diagnostische Gruppe zu berechnen. Bei bestimmten Meßwerten von Spannung und Zeit ergab sich eine gute Trennung von Personen mit verschiedenen Diagnosen und eine nur geringe Streuung innerhalb der Gruppen von Patienten mit gleicher Diagnose.
