Summary

The fibrinolytic activity of 25 human malignant tumour specimens was studied by a semi-quantitative histochemical method and by a plasminogen activator extraction procedure. A good accordance between the results obtained with the two methods was found. The advantages and disadvantages of the methods are discussed.
