Summary

The adhesiveness and aggregation of platelets in plasma of women treated with “Lyndiol”, an anticonceptive agent, were investigated.

An increase of adhesiveness and enhancement of platelet aggregation induced by ADP and thrombin was observed. The pathophysiological significance of the described changes is briefly discussed.
