Zusammenfassung

Kinder mit Aussprachestörungen unklarer Genese machen den Großteil der kindlichen Patienten in logopädischen Praxen aus. Sprachtherapeuten steht heute auch im deutschsprachigen Raum eine Vielzahl an Materialien/Vorgehensweisen für ihre diagnostischen Schritte zur Verfügung. Der vorliegende Artikel soll diese Schritte bei Aussprachestörungen darstellen und existierende Materialien auf ihre Ziele und Aktualität vorstellen. Des Weiteren wird die besondere Situation mehrsprachiger Kinder im Hinblick auf den phonologischen Erwerb und die Diagnostik von Aussprachestörungen diskutiert.

Abstract

Children with speech sound disorders of unclear origin form the largest group of pediatric cases in speech and language pathology. Today, in German-speaking countries, a wide range of assessment processes and tools to diagnose these children are available to speech therapists. This paper aims to describe the diagnostic process and to discuss the objectives of the different tools and the extent to which they agree with current knowledge. Furthermore, phonological acquisition and diagnosis of speech sound disorders in the special context of multilingual children will be discussed.
