Tokophobie – die Angst vor der Geburt

Negative Auswirkungen von Tokophobie auf Schwangerschaft, Geburt und Wochenbett werden in der Literatur vielfach beschrieben. Jedoch weist die bisherige Forschung bezüglich der Therapie von Tokophobie keinen Konsens auf und der Handlungsspielraum der Hebamme in Bezug auf die Therapie bei Tokophobie ist nicht definiert. Eine Bachelorarbeit an der Zürcher Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften befasste sich mittels Literaturrecherche mit Fakten und Zusammenhängen zur Tokophobie . Dabei wurden eine qualitative und drei quantitative Studien bewertet.
