Jedoch weist die bisherige Forschung bezüglich der Therapie von Tokophobie keinen Konsens auf und der Handlungsspielraum der Hebamme in Bezug auf die Therapie bei Tokophobie ist nicht definiert. Eine Bachelorarbeit an der Zürcher Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften befasste sich mittels Literaturrecherche mit Fakten und Zusammenhängen zur Tokophobie .
