Synthesis of Allyloxiranes from Allyltributyltin and α-Halo Ketones Catalyzed by Dibutyltin Dihalide-Hexamethylphosphoric Triamide Complexes
Further Information
Publication History
Publication Date:
07 March 2002 (online)
Dibutyltin dihalides act as versatile catalysis in combination with hexamethylphosphoric triamide (HMPT) for the reaction of allyltributyltin and α-halo ketones, furnishing the corresponding allyloxiranes in good yield; a palladium catalyst, which is generally used, is not required.
