Novel Palladium-Catalyzed Biaryl Synthesis with Haloarenes
Further Information
Publication History
Publication Date:
07 March 2002 (online)
Novel palladium-catalyzed couplings of bromo- and iodoarenes to give biaryls were accomplished in the presence of equimolar amounts of trialkylamine. Bromoarenes require triphenylarsine as cocatalyst. The trialkylamine was found to cause dehalogenation of haloarenes as a side reaction.
