Publication History
Publication Date:

Glycosylation of cholesterol with 2,3,4-tri-O-benzyl-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl chloride was significantly accelerated by the addition of a catalytic amount of Zn salt such as Zn(acac)2, ZnCl2, Zn(Ac)2, or Zn(CN)2 in dichloromethane affording α-rhamnoside predominantly.
