Kindliche Hodentumoren

Zusammenfassung

Einleitung: Seltenheit und Behandlungsstrategie präpubertärer Hodentumoren veranlassen zur Vorstellung zweier eigener Fälle.Kasuistik: Bei einem 8 Wochen alten Säugling wurde ein Teratom und bei einem 14 Monate alten Kind ein Dottersacktumor festgestellt und durch Orchiektomie geheilt.Schlussfolgerung: Aufgrund der Seltenheit kindlicher Hodentumoren sollte ein nationales Tumorregister eingerichtet werden, um ein besseres Verständnis und einen optimalen Behandlungsplan zu erreichen.

Abstract

Introduction: Rarity and treatment strategy of prepuberal testicular tumors initiate us for demonstration of two own cases.Case report: An eight-week old boy with a testicular teratoma and a fourteen-month old child with a yolk-sack tumor were successfully treated by orchiectomy.Conclusion: Because of their rarity and because of concerns regarding their appropriate treatment, a national registry to collect data on prepuberal testis tumors should be initiated.
