Panikstörung

Zusammenfassung

Nach einer Definition von Panikattacke und Panikstörung werden Ergebnisse bez. der Komorbidität im psychiatrischen, kardiologischen und neurologischen Bereich diskutiert. Danach werden Ergebnisse der Psychotherapie und Psychopharmakotherapie betrachtet. Hier hat sich die Kombination einer kognitiv-verhaltenstherapeutischen bzw. tiefenpsychologischen Behandlung mit einer Psychopharmakotherapie mit einem SSRI bewährt. Dabei sind Kurz- und Langzeitstrategien zu beachten.

Panic Disorder

After a short description of panic attacks and panic disorder we discuss psychiatric, cardiologic and neurologic co-morbidity and the treatment results of psychotherapy and psychopharmacotherapy. We recommend the combination of brief cognitive-behavioural or psychodynamic psychotherapy with a selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor for the short term and also a relapse preventive long-term strategy.
