Jarosch, H. Besl Institut für Botanik, Universität Regensburg, Regensburg, Germany Artikel empfehlen Abstract Abstract This study aimed to test the monophyly and present generic concept of the genus Leucogyrophana (Basidiomycetes, Boletales). DNA sequence data were generated from the nuclear encoded 28S gene using the primer combination LR0R-LR5. Molecular results were compared with chemical data. Molecular phylogenetic and chemosystematic analysis emphasized the heterogeneity among Leucogyrophana species. Taxonomical interpretation of the data presented lead to the proposal of the new genus Hydnomerulius for a part of the genus Leucogyrophana in its former circumscription.
