Proximal Lesion of the Median Nerve Caused by a Leiomyosarcoma at the Left ElbowPublication History

Abstract
We describe a leiomyosarcoma at the elbow as a cause of a proximal sensory median nerve lesion. The location of the lesion could be established more precisely by fractionated median nerve SEP analysis and the diagnosis was confirmed at an early stage. There was complete regression of the clinical symptoms after complete microsurgical tumor exstirpation and neurolysis of the affected nerve.
