Abstract
1,3,5-Triphosphabenzenes 1 react readily with alkyl lithium compounds to give the triphosphininuid salts 7 and 8 through alkylation of one of the phosphorus atoms. Subsequent reaction with primary alkyl halides leads to the formation of 1λ5,3,5-triphosphabenzenes 10 and 11.
Key words
alkyl halides - heterocycles - organometallic reagents - phosphorus
