Zusammenfassung

Die vorliegende Untersuchung geht der Frage der Angehörigenzufriedenheit mit einer häuslichen Versorgung palliativmedizinisch behandlungsbedürftiger terminal kranker Patienten nach. Viele Befragungen wiesen immer wieder nach, dass bevorzugter Sterbeort dieser Patienten das eigene zu Hause ist. Wir führten mit 15 Angehörigen von Verstorbenen semiqualitative Interviews durch, um Faktoren, die Lebensqualität in der Terminalphase bestimmen, herauszuarbeiten. Es zeigte sich, dass schon allein die Realisierung dieses bevorzugten Sterbeortes die Zufriedenheit der Angehörigen mit den palliativmedizinischen Betreuungsangeboten deutlich verbessert.

Summary

This study focusses on the satisfaction of informal caregivers with the delivered palliative home care for terminally ill patients. Interview-studies had often shown that the preferred place of dying is at home. To detect factors predicting satisfaction of informal caregivers with palliative home care, we conducted 15 semiqualitative interviews with informal caregivers of the deceased. We could show that the realisation of the preferred place of dying itself is a high predictor of satisfaction of informal caregivers witz palliative home care.
