Zusammenfassung
Berichtet wird über die erfolgreiche Wundbehandlung bei ausgedehnter lebensbedrohlicher nekrotisierender Fasziitis am Bein einer multimorbiden Patientin unter Einhaltung klassischer Prinzipien der septischen Chirurgie (radikales Debridement, keimgerechter antibiotischer Medikation, programmierter Wundrevision) und Anwendung einer industriell bereitgestellten Dauersog-Verbandstechnik zur Wundkonditionierung (V.A.C.®-System).
Abstract
Successful woundmanagement is reported in a case of extended and life threatening necrotizing fasciitis of the leg of a polymorbid older woman by use of standards of septic surgery (sufficient excision of necrotic tissue, use of bacteria adapted antibiotics, programmed woundrevisions) and use of an industrial supplied device of vacuum assisted closure (V.A.C.®).
