Significance

This is a very nice extension of the previous work by this group in elaborating the scope of ketones used in the reductive amination. The importance of the heterogeneous hydrogenation catalyst was also shown as well as the significance of solvent, temperature and molarity. Shown above is a very interesting finding about the heterogeneous catalyst conditions and the classification of suitable substrates for the three catalyst systems tested.
