Sonographie von malignen Hämangioendotheliomen der Leber

Zusammenfassung

Maligne Hämangioendotheliome der Leber sind sehr seltene mesenchymale Tumoren. Sonographisch imponieren sie als solitäre, aber häufiger als multizentrische, unscharf und unregelmäßig begrenzte Raumforderungen, mit sowohl echoarmen bis echofreien als auch echodichten Strukturanteilen. Kurzfristige sonographische Verlaufskontrollen lassen eine rasche Wachstumstendenz und wechselnde Echogenität erkennen.

Abstract

Malignant haemangioendotheliomas of the liver are very rare mesenchymal tumours. Sonographically, they appear as solitary, although more frequently as multicentric, space-occu-pying growths with blurred and irregularly delineated out-lines; the Sonographie image shows both echodense structures and structures with a low amount of echoes, or which are even echo-free. Short-term Sonographie follow-up examinations point to a tendency to rapid growth and varying echogenicity.
