Zusammenfassung

Eine 24jährige Patientin mit primär generalisierten epileptischen Anfällen (Kombination von Impulsiv-Petit mal und Aufwach-Grand mal) entwickelte unter Barbexaclon (2 ? 100 mg) und Valproinsäure eine progressive Pigmentpurpura an beiden Beinen, die nach Absetzen des Barbexaclons unter Beibehaltung der Valproinsäuremedikation innerhalb von Monaten reversibel war.

Summary

A 24-year old female patient with primarily generalized seizures (combination of massive bilateral myoclonus and generalized tonic-clonic seizures) developed a progressive pigment purpura under therapy with barbexaclone (100 mg b.i.d.) and valproic acid, which was reversible within months following discontinuation of the barbexaclone medication.
