Zusammenfassung
Der MAO-B-Hemmer Deprenyl eignet sich zur Adjuvansbehandlung in der Parkinson-Therapie, insbesondere zur Behandlung des Akinese-Rigor-Syndroms. Die erforderliche Tagesdosis beträgt 1 mg/10 kg Körpergewicht. Bei denovo-Patienten und bei mittelschwerem Parkinson-Syndrom sind die Nebenwirkungen gering. Bei fortgeschrittenem Parkinson-Syndrom muß mit ähnlichen Nebenwirkungen wie mit der Dopa- und der Dopaminergika-Therapie gerechnet werden. Die Kombinationstherapie mit allen Antiparkinsonmedikamenten und Thymoleptika ist möglich.
Die subkutane Lisurid-Applikation erfolgt in unserer Klinik bei fortgeschrittenem Parkinson-Syndrom mit schwer behandelbaren Fluktuationen der Mortilität oder schweren Hyperkinesen. In allen Fällen konnte eine Besserung der Motilität unter der subkutanen Applikation von Lisurid beobachtet werden.
Es ist daher zu empfehlen, im allgemeinen mit niedriger Lisurid-Applikation zu beginnen und die Dosis nur sehr langsam bis zur erforderlichen Dosis zu steigern.
Summary
The MAO B inhibitor Deprenyl is suitable as an adjuvant in the treatment of Parkinson's disease, especially in the treatment of the akinetic rigid syndrome. The requisite daily dose ist 1 mg/l0kg body weight. Side effects are low in new patients and in Parkinson's syndrome of medium severity. In advanced Parkinson's syndrome there is a possibility of side effects similar to those associated with dopa and dopaminergics therapy. It is possible to effect a combination therapy with all anti-Parkinson drugs and thymoleptics.
Subcutaneous application of Lisurid is effected in our hospital in patients with advanced Parkinson's syndrome associated with refractory fluctuations in motility or severe hyperkineses. In all cases the motility was improved by subcutaneous application of Lisurid.
Hence, it is recommended to generally start with low-dosage application of Lisurid and to increase the dose only very slowly to the required level.
