Zusammenfassung

Aus einem Spongioblastom entwickelte sich 12 Jahre nach Operation und Bestrahlung ein Gliosarkom, welches über eine Liquorableitung metastasierte. Gesichtspunkte der Entstehung dieser gemischten Hirntumoren werden besprochen.

Summary

A spongioblastoma developed 12 years after operation and irradiation into a gliosarcoma metastasising through a shunt. Some of the problems concerning the origin of brain tumours with mixed cell population are discussed.
