Zusammenfassung

Es wird die Klinik kindlicher Hirntumoren dargestellt, zunächst nach der allgemeinen Symptomatologie und dem Tumorsitz. Dabei wird auch auf somatische Symptome wie Wachstumsstörungen und endokrine Ausfälle eingegangen. Es werden anschließend die verschiedenen Tumorarten besprochen, besonders das Medulloblastom und das Ependymom. Zum Abschluß werden einige Bemerkungen zur Radiotherapie und Chemotherapie kindlicher Hirntumoren gemacht.

Signs and symptoms of brain tumors in children are described. The author refers at first to the site of the tumors. Growth and endocrine disturbances are specially looked for. The different types of brain tumors in children are discussed, especially medulloblastomas and ependymomas. Some considerations as to modern postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy are put forward.
