Entwicklung und Implementierung Evidenz-basierter Leitlinien in der niederländischen Ergotherapie

Zusammenfassung

Einleitung: Behandlungsleitlinien können einen Beitrag zum Evidenz-basierten Arbeiten in der Ergotherapie leisten und auf diese Weise die Professionalität des Berufsstandes erhöhen. Damit Leitlinien erfolgreich entwickelt und implementiert werden können, müssen diverse Voraussetzungen erfüllt sein.

Der Artikel beschreibt die in den Niederlanden mit der Implementierung der Evidenz-basierten Ergotherapieleitlinie Schlaganfall gemachten Erfahrungen. Es wird gezeigt, welche Voraussetzungen berücksichtigt und wie diese in die Praxis umgesetzt wurden. Bezüglich der Übertragbarkeit der niederländischen Leitlinie auf andere Länder wird außerdem dargestellt, warum ihre Übersetzung und Verbreitung z. B. in Deutschland eine zu beschränkte Strategie ist, um die Evidenz-basierte Ergotherapie anzuregen.

Ergebnisse: Die 1 Jahr nach der Implementierung der Ergotherapieleitlinie Schlaganfall durchgeführte Bewertung kam zu dem Ergebnis, dass es sich hierbei um eine erfolgreich verlaufende Unternehmung handelt, die jedoch ständige Aufmerksamkeit erfordert.

Abstract

Introduction: Guidelines for treatment can contribute to evidence-based practice in occupational therapy and thereby promote the process of its professionalisation. In order to be successful in developing and implementing treatment guidelines several requirements have to be met.

This article describes the experience of implementing the evidence-based Occupational Therapy Guideline for Stroke in the Netherlands. The necessary preconditions and the means of transferring the guidelines into practice are outlined and discussed. Concerning the transfer of the Dutch guideline to other countries it is also portrayed why its translation and distribution for example in Germany has limited use to advance evidence-based occupational therapy practice.

Results: The evaluation conducted 1 year after applying the guideline came to the conclusion that its implementation was successful but requires ongoing attention.
