Außergewöhnlich zystisches Erscheinungsbild von Lymphknoten bei malignem Lymphom

Zusammenfassung

Die sonografische Untersuchung des Abdomens und Retroperitoneums und insbesondere der peripheren Lymphknotenstationen bei einem Patienten mit Gewichtsabnahme und rektaler Blutung zeigte an vielen vergrößerten Lymphknoten in unterschiedlicher Ausprägung zystische Hohlräume. Die Biopsie und Histologie ergaben die Diagnose eines Mantelzelllymphoms. Wegen der zystischen Hohlräume zusätzlich durchgeführte Immunfärbungen sprachen für eine sogenannte vaskuläre Transformation der Lymphknotensinus.

Abstract

Sonographic examination of the abdomen and of superficial lymph nodes in a patient with weight loss and rectal bleeding showed numerous lymph nodes with partially cystic areas. Biopsy and histological examination revealed mantle cell lymphoma. Additional staining with immunological markers confirmed the diagnosis of cystic transformation of the lymph node sinuses.
