Zusammenfassung
Ein 46-jähriger Mann entwickelte als Folge einer Karotisdissektion Nackenschmerzen und ein kaudales Hirnnervensyndrom. Innerhalb von drei Monaten kam es unter Antikoagulation mit Marcumar zu einer Rückbildung der neurologischen Symptomatik und der pathologischen Gefäßveränderungen.
Abstract
A 46-year-old man developed neck pain and lower cranial nerve palsies caused by a dissection of the carotid artery. Under anticoagulation therapy with Marcumar within three months the patient recovered from the neurological symptoms and also the pathology of the carotid artery was reversed.
