European Journal of Pediatric Surgery EUPSA Edition: The Best Papers of the Annual Congress of the European Paediatric Surgeons' Association (EUPSA)

The Editorial Board of the European Journal of Pediatric Surgery is pleased to release the European Paediatric Surgeons' Association Issue 2007. The best manuscripts of papers presented at the 8th European Paediatric Surgeons' Association Annual Congress, which took place in May 2007 in Turin, were selected for publication.

Thirty three manuscripts were submitted. Five members of the EUPSA Scientific Office discussed and scored each paper and finally accepted 14. We are glad to have the opportunity to release this issue of excellent manuscripts, and very much appreciate again having Prem Puri, who is the chairman of the EUPSA Scientific Office, as the Guest Editor.

In this issue, the best 14 papers presented at the Annual Meeting of the EUPSA in Turin in May 2007 are published. These manuscripts represent the high quality of scientific work being done by paediatric surgeons. Each year one of the issues of European Journal of Pediatric Surgery is devoted to papers presented at the Annual Meeting of the EUPSA. All the manuscripts were peer reviewed by the Publication Committee consisting of Professor Benno Ure, Professor Risto Rintala, Professor Agostino Pierro, Professor Juan Tovar and Professor Prem Puri. We look forward to a long relationship between the two organizations.
