Successful Management of Faecal Incontinence Using the Enema Continence Catheter

Abstract
Faecal incontinence in the school age child is a social and educational handicap, and its relief can revolutionise the life of the family. Shandling and Gilmour (1) have successfully managed this using their "enema continence catheter" for effective colonic lavage. We report our methods and experience using this technique.
