Zusammenfassung

Die Echographie bietet wertvolle Hilfe bei der Erkennung, Unterscheidung und Lokalisation verschiedener krankhafter Zustände des Auges und der Augenhöhle. Die A- und B-Bild-Echographien sollten gleichzeitig angewendet werden, da sie sich beide wesentlich ergänzen.

Summary

Echography is a valuable aid to the recognition differentiation and localization of various pathologic conditions of the eye and the orbit. The A and B scans should be used in combination. Since they complement one another to a considerable extent.
